EFT, 16 Guidelines and Teen Mindfulness with Gillian Watt
This episode shares so many incredible modalities to support you with your mental health. Gillian's inspiring approach to challenges offers us an insight into the strength and resilience that we can all access as humans.
In this episode Gillian introduces us to Emotional Freedom Technique (often referred to as tapping), why working with teens and supporting teen mental health really lights a fire in Gillian's Heart and how living in alignment with the 16 Guidelines offers a great framework to get curious in life.
I hope you enjoy this fascinating insight.
If you have a teen who you feel would benefit from the work Gillian offers, she has some funded places to offer teens who might not be able to access the sessions without some financial support. Businesses and individuals from around Scotland have come forward to fund the places. Amazing support and she is so grateful. With Love Susi xx
About Gillian and How to Connect:
Gillian has been passionate about health and wellbeing for many years, both in her personal and professional life, initially as a musician and latterly as a teacher and head teacher. Her mission is to share tools that she has used and is now trained in, so that others can begin to create their own tool kit for when they experience tricky times.
Gillian is an Advanced Accredited EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Practitioner and is also trained in Reiki, Mindfulness, EMMETT,16 Guidelines, using the outdoors and woodland skills as often as possible.
Gillian talks about working with teenagers past and present. Teenagers (remember you were once a teenager!) find life difficult and frustrating at the best of times, but throw in a pandemic and other issues, it gets multiplied a hundredfold. If our needs haven't been met and we haven't been heard as teenagers, the stress of our teenage years gets stored and leaps out later in life. Sometimes life can get a bit too much. We all have challenges along the way but now and again it can become overwhelming. People of all ages can be affected by stress and anxiety. Gillian enjoys working with families of all ages.
Gillian also uses her tools to work with animals but that's a whole other conversation!
